As part of our Sales Management trainee program you will spend time in the following areas learning, experiencing, and perfecting our sales process to make you a well rounded leader.
Product Specialist: As a local Product Specialist you will complete training on the brands represented by our store (Ford, Lincoln, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram), work with an experienced mentor during your onboarding time (3-6 months) while you learn the day-to-day processes and procedures specific to our process.
You will continue your Product Specialist training over the span of a total of 24-36 months building a book of business, gaining referrals, work with our Finance and Insurance Manager to handle deliveries and paperwork, plan your weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals with your Sales Manager and General Manager, all while learning the ins and outs of the daily processes while continuing your product training.
During your final months as a Product Specialist you will be asked to mentor a new incoming Product Specialist on the items you have learned to make you successful.
Finance & Insurance Manager: During your time as a Finance & Insurance Manager you will work with Product Specialists to complete sales deliveries, handle relations between the customer and finance sources, present and sell aftermarket products, vehicles protection packages, insurance, service agreements, and other after the sale items.
You will also be responsible for legal paperwork, title documentation, rebate collection, and store cash management while working with our accounting team.
A successful trainee will spend a minimum of 36 months in this position.
As a Sales Manager you will work daily with both Product Specialists and our Finance & Insurance Manager.
On a daily basis, you will be involved with working on every deal, training new Product Specialists and Finance & Insurance Managers, set and manage sales goals with Product Specialists, make advertising decisions, manage new and used car inventory, make projections, interview and hire potential new trainees, and set plans for the anticipated business in the coming months, quarters, and years.
