The Senior Recruiter, TrueBlue, is responsible for senior recruiting activities within an assigned market and the sourcing of qualified workers for all field positions. Responsible for timely screening, scheduling, interviewing and selection of candidates, in response to customer needs and recruiting goals. Expert in attracting and selecting top worker talent. Proactively markets candidates to customers. Has responsibility for ensuring that both the quality and quantity of applicants is at a high level, the process is documented, and leverages appropriate sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates. The Senior Recruiter reports directly to either the Regional Vice President, Market Manager, or Market Recruiting Manager and is based at a field region branch office within the United States.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Ensures an ideal candidate experience consistent with our brand image.
Can oversee, mentor, and train Recruiters in region (if needed).
More of a “specialized” recruiter.
Must be a consultative partner to hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
Proactively recruits for specialized, strategic, niche, or hard to find open positions through career fairs, community engagement, worker referrals, etc.
Educates customers along with Sales on labor market data (supply and demand) to secure appropriate pricing.
Experienced with Behavioral Based Interviewing techniques to conduct thorough interviews to understand worker’s specialized skills, experience, and expertise.
Engage with workers on an ongoing basis to increase worker retention and maintain safety.
Communicates the importance of worker safety to workers and customers at every touch point.
Strong business acumen and attends Quarterly Business Reviews, as requested by Branch Manager or Sales Representatives.
Must be able to recruit passive candidates.
Builds a pipeline of potential candidates and develops a strong referral network.
Demonstrates ability to analyze hiring manager preferences through high offer to interview ratios.
Recommends recruitment strategies that will contribute to long-range growth of company. Demonstrates ability to implement these strategies successfully to delivery highest quality results to customers.
Leverages appropriate sourcing strategies (i.e. advertising, career fairs, networking etc.) to ensure a constant flow of interested qualified candidates.
Identifies selection and assessment strategies that ensure efficient, effective and fair applicant evaluation processes.
Utilizes traditional and non-traditional sourcing avenues including fostering relationships with colleges, trade schools and diverse organizations.
Possesses deep vertical market knowledge.
Develops candidate assessment tools (interview guides, reference questions, etc.) based on best practice candidate evaluation methods.
Presents and articulates a plan with deliverables, timelines and formal tracking processes.
Establishes priorities for managing own work and stays on a focused, efficient path for achieving results.
Keeps customers up-to-date on the progress of the service they are receiving and changes that affect them.

Accountability: Without this position, customers would not receive qualified candidates for jobs and temporary workers would not be placed on work assignments, resulting in a potential loss of clients and employees.

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field; AND 3 or more years of recruitment experience; or high school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred; and 5 or more years of current recruitment experience, or high school diploma or GED and 7 or more years of recruitment experience; plus customer service and/or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced level Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel. Advanced level skills in one or more applicant tracking systems. Advanced level skills in CRM, HRIS program including payroll software. Ability to learn and work with new programs.
Ability to work independently and make independent decisions with regard to hiring practices.
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities / skills.
Ability to market and sell the company’s employee value proposition.
Ability to negotiate candidate packages and client billing rates.
Customer Service attitude with the ability to work unsupervised.
Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources / Recruiting regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize to meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
