POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:Sr. HR Generalist
The Sr. Human Resource Generalist will perform a wide range of HR support functions for a manufacturing facility located in South Orange County. The Sr. HR Generalist will be working directly with local management and staff on all HR policy related directives, as well as oversee company and plant wide HR initiatives, benefits, leaves of absence, and Workmans Compensation.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:Sr. HR Generalist
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Work directly with employees to respond to inquiries regarding company policy interpretation and programs and provide guidance on HR procedures.
Work directly with management to provide guidance on performance management & HR policies.
Develop collaborative, strategic relationships with members of the management teams.
Oversee the policies, activities, and decision making for the areas of Leave of Absences and Workers Compensation.
Ensure the company is compliant and administer the day-to-day tracking and correspondences of all leave of absences.
Work closely with management and employees to enhance site culture, increase morale and engagement.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Assist to resolve employee relations issues and investigations.
Contribute to the development of processes and procedures.
Assist with onsite payroll administration, including administering payroll policy and procedure & assisting and coaching managers on process.
Train new hires on employee benefit options and assist with the enrollment process.
Administer and assist in overseeing critical HR & plant wide initiatives such as employee recognition programs, Global Service Awards, engagement surveys.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
