PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) :Improve the Company's market position and achieve financial growth. Support the company's product lines and pipeline facilities inspection, integrity, and non-destructive examination services for assigned area. Actively prospect new pipeline customers in the Energy, Public Utility, and Infrastructure industries. Cold call and research potential customers to identify decision makers, develop rapport and set-up meetings. Manage and lead customer meetings and presentations. Collect customer intelligence, insights, and work as part of an integrated team to create new business opportunities; lead the customer bidding process. Develop customer account plans and manage those plans with defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Manage business opportunities, contacts and services across the Business Development Team. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential and current in Customer Relationship Management tool. Representative for the account management team with existing customers. Implement market intelligence framework to assess competitor capabilities and customer future technology needs. Represent Cypress at association events and conferences to cultivate new business opportunities and contacts. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate; forecast sales targets and ensure they are met; track and record activity on accounts and contacts to meet targets. Provide intelligence on competitors and market trends. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is preferred. Minimum of 12 years work experience with significant energy experience, preferrably in the areas of upstream or midstream energy sector. International work experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting to members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks through prioritization and execution. Rolodex of existing customer contacts and relationships within the energy upstream and/or midstream sector. Team player with a demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment. Highly motivated to make calls, set up meetings and progress opportunities (as well as customer relationships) without daily oversight. Experienced with developing and executing implementing strategic account plans. Capable of developing business case studies, financial justification and proposals for new technologies. Expert level with office computer equipment and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various financial reporting packages. Experience with customer demand planning and multi-product line revenue forecasting. Experience in developing, valuing and prioritizing multi-product opportunity pipelines.
