Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this global leader will leverage their experience and deep knowledge in IT infrastructure, engineering, service desk, and the requisite technologies along with the management skills required. The operational responsibilities include overseeing the vendors, policies, processes, and procedures that make up IT, and to ensure the proper high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and maintained. This includes continual assessment, development, and delivery of IT operational strategy, roadmaps, security, architecture, systems, and programs, while overseeing the day to day IT operational performance of the end-to-end platforms of infrastructure, applications, and end-user support.

•Create and maintain a technology strategy that delivers solutions which help the business achieve its desired outcomes and will act as the single point of contact to ensure IT service management and relationship management needs of the Operations organization are met
•Leverage technology to transform service delivery and operational processes. (ServiceNow - ITSM, ITBM, FSM, etc.) specifically, to implement ITILv4 service management processes
•Manage application monitoring (APM) tools and ensure setup properly to monitor metrics, traces, and logs; ensure completion of monitoring, logging, and alerting activities
•Develop operational dashboards and review reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to present to team and management
•Monitor and remediate an extensive IT environment (databases, servers, firewalls, cloud, and business critical applications) enterprise monitoring tools
•Proactively monitor, analyze alarm information, initiate corrective actions to promptly isolate issues, restore service, implement changes, and provide analysis and consultation to appropriate teams
•Vendor management operations, working closely with Global Procurement
•Tracking and benchmarking capabilities to measure and improve performance.
•Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
•University degree in information technology, engineering, or related field
•12+ years of relevant work experience
•Demonstrated experience with IT Operations Analytics to improve service availability and incident reduction
•Experience leading large global teams
•Flexibility to travel to worldwide manufacturing locations (e.g. Germany, Singapore, US, India) as needed
•Fluent in English (Written and Verbal)
•A proven IT Transformation leader
•Self-driven with strong analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quickly
•Excellent communication skills and has experience preparing documents and presenting in front of senior executives on a regular basis
•Oriented to action and has demonstrated impact in previous positions
