If you want to help create marketing campaigns using our blog, interactives, social media, video, streaming audio, motion graphics, email (and occasional snail-mail), apply now. You'll finish the summer with a stocked portfolio of creative material you can use to land your first marketing job.Responsibilities:* Gaining knowledge of company brand* Understands audience and brand message* Understand the tools and channels available for advancing our brand* Works to develop product and business knowledge* Under supervision, supports business goals associated with assigned line or channel* Develops content to support identified customer journey within line(s) or audience* Implements basic storytelling skills* Stays informed about marketing and industry trendsRequirements:* Top-notch creative, writing and brainstorming skills* Strong (and adaptable) interpersonal and small group communication skills* A demonstrated ability to develop creative marketing pieces that align to business objectives, campaign strategies and brand standards* Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment and juggle multiple assignments on varying deadlines* Must be able to work full-time hours from late May to early August 2021* The internship may be extended part-time into the fall semester; depending on the availability of the student, the needs of the company, and strong work performance* Graduation date of December 2021 or beyond* Sets positive example for others and builds positive relationships* Effective communication, prompt turn-around time, excellent prioritization skills, learns from mistakes, eager to try new ideas and provide feedback, meeting etiquette, solution oriented* Understands scope and delivers on it* Proactively seeks advice from senior team members and management on communications, processes, best practices, etcThe candidate we hire will have:* A strong understanding of modern marketing techniques (digital & mobile first).* A passion for accepting coaching, and implementing the lessons learned into their next assignment.* A desire to work in a team environment.* Boundless energy and a fun-loving spirit (we work hard, but we laugh hard, too).* The confidence to raise their hand and ask for challenging assignments.
