The best kept secret in ministry--serve as pastor/minister to Soldiers and their Families while advising the Unit Commander on religion, morale, and the moral climate. Active Duty Chaplains need to be US Citizens, under the age of approximately 45 (with age waiver), possess a 72 credit hour Master of Divinity or equivalent, and have two years of church or other ministry experience.
Active Duty Chaplains will attend a 12 week Chaplain Officer Leadership course at Fort Jackson, SC, and could be assigned anywhere in the nation or world, with your input on location.
