The Associate General Counsel will provide general legal support and expertise to all Rutter's companies, with a primary focus on real estate development and construction.Essential Functions* Will perform legal research and compose memoranda or otherwise communicate with employees and department managers within the company.* Provide representation for Rutter's companies in legal matters, including municipal approvals, and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.* Prepare and negotiate real estate conveyance documents, construction contracts, and commercial agreements.* Develop a thorough understanding of Rutter's companies, its core values, its people, products, technology, markets, customers and competitors in order to assist the Company in meeting its overall business goals and objectives in a legal, compliant, safe and responsible manner.* Review and analyze local, state and federal regulations including local ordinance review.* Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.* Provides status of legal matters concerning Rutter's companies to senior level management.* Self-starter, able to work cross-functionally with a business partner mindset and across multiple operating entities.* Perform legal services as directed.Requirements* Must be a licensed Attorney in PA.
