Hasbro is currently recruiting enthusiastic, technically curious & creative engineering students for our Advanced Technology and Innovation (ATI) team. This group researches & presents relevant new technologies for future Hasbro products. Engineers evaluate competitive products & participate in product brainstorming sessions. Actively participate on cross functional project teams throughout development lifecycle, provides technical advice & feasibility assessment for new concepts and define product gameplay (flow charts & robotic routines) & program concept/development models.
We also offer a unique opportunity to our students by participating in Hasbro's Co-op EPIC group project. Co-ops work in teams to bring an idea for a Hasbro product to concept stage. This includes presenting the idea to business partners at various checkpoints in the process and prototyping the concept for presentation.
Build, assemble, and debug proof of concept breadboard models & prototypes
Collaborate w/ internal partners & outside vendors to develop new mechanisms & technologies
Create SolidWorks models for rapid-prototyping
Work on every aspect of the product development process, Design, Engineering, Gameplay, Aesthetics, Programming, and audio
Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student
Must be available to work full-time as a co-op
Co-op assignment can be either a mandatory or optional requirement for graduation
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Completion of at least one year of study towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering
Project work or co-op experience in product design engineering, mechanism design
CAD, Design, Machining, Prototyping, Programming
Excellent communication & interpersonal effectiveness skills
Strong time/project management skills & the desire to build/expand competency in this area
Intermediate-level skills in MS Excel, Word & Outlook & web-based applications
Must be currently enrolled in undergrad or graduate level courses. 2020 or earlier graduates are no longer eligible for Hasbro internships or co-ops and will not be considered for this position.
