This position is responsible for overseeing assignments and schedules for field crews while ensuring a quality installation of a variety of products under the guidance of senior field management.
This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle, and such operation is done consistently more than 40% of the average workweek.
Primary Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Coordinate with builder personnel to determine construction progress
Inspect completed installations at job sites
Participate in stakeholder meetings (e.g., internal departments, customers, installers and general contractors)
Perform customer service inspections
Perform job site inspections to insure installation readiness
Prepare daily/weekly reports, as necessary
Serve as a liaison between homebuilders and contractors
Visit assigned tracts regularly to stay updated on construction progress
Ensure that all safety and OSHA regulations are communicated to staff and adhered to
Other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor and other company management.
Education and Experience
Knowledge of construction industry practices materials and methods involved in the construction of houses and building
Must be willing to travel to construction sites on a day-to-day basis
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional and productive manner to determine problems and find appropriate resolutions
Basic PC skills, including Windows, Word and Excel
Strong math skills and problem-solving skills
Understanding of blueprints design packets, installation diagrams and layouts
Good work ethic with initiative and motivation
Highly effective interpersonal communications skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
