Lead multiple online Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions each week throughout the year (fall, spring, and summer)b. Develop interactive student discussion on difficult course contentc. Create presentations and interactive activities appropriate for online sessions in order to engage students in the session and the course content rather than simply lecturing studentsd. Integrate effective course-specific study and learning strategies to maximize students' potential for academic progressAdditional responsibilitiesa. Complete SI-related administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Online Tutoring Servicesb. Participate in mandatory SI Leader Orientation, training sessions, and scheduled meetings as required by the Director of Online Tutoring Servicesc. Work effectively with session schedulesd. Maintain accurate and timely records of each SI sessione. Maintain open communication with supervisors, students, and professorsMinimum QualificationsA high school diploma, as well as acceptance into and current enrollment in one of LU's residential or online programs is required.
