Behavior Specialist Assistant
*Train direct support staff on implementation of behavior support plans through instruction, modeling, and role-play.
*Observe direct support staffs interactions with people on caseload to see if behavior support plan is being followed.
*Attend psychiatric appointments (when possible) for people on caseload.
*Participate/Attend team meetings.
*Review behavioral data and summarize each month for review by Associate Executive Director of Behavior Supports.
*Obtain informed consents for behavior support plans/rights restrictions.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
