Job Description Summary
The University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to teach and engage in scholarship in the area of Public Relations beginning August 2020. A Ph.D. in a mass communication, or closely related area required. ABD candidates may be considered. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses involving writing, strategy, campaigns, public opinion, integrated marketing, or event planning across the Public Relations curriculum and related areas. Individuals will be teaching in both face-to-face and online platforms. Professional working experience in the field of public relations is beneficial. There are also opportunities to teach in our Master of Arts in Communication program. This position will also be actively involved in undergraduate academic advising.
