Works with consultative sales team to develop all collateral for pursuing new accounts and renewing / expanding existing business. Responsibilities including writing proposals and creating presentations, managing Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, working with our design team to create multiple types of collateral, writing other non-press pieces (including case studies and brochure copywriting), and assisting in knowledge management of standard marketing content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate complex RFP responses, organizing responsibilities matrix and due dates for all deliverables
Create a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for new pursuits and renewal contracts (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations)
Support research to aid management in business planning and strategy development (e.g. studying prospectâs website and annual report to understand culture and enterprise goals)
Use standard boiler plate and interviews of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to write custom content for proposals
Assist with maintaining marketing database/library, including standard marketing collateral and case studies
Develop strong working relationship with subject matter experts throughout the organization (both functional leaders and account management)
No managerial responsibilities
Education & Experience: Must be extremely organized, have strong business writing and editing skills, be savvy with PowerPoint, and have excellent communication skills. Bachelorâs degree or equivalent from four-year college or university (focus in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, or comparable studies).
