We are looking for a
Business Operations Specialist in Charlotte, NC.
Parsons is seeking a business savvy operations specialist to join our Critical
Infrastructure Operations team and help drive best practices and compliance
across multiple market lines.
Assists with a broad variety of other best practice and compliance related
topics to support efficiency across the life cycle of business operations. You
will work alongside other personnel in multiple departments to support reporting
requirements, collect/analyze data, distribute relevant data, perform follow-up
tasks, and assess compliance with policies and procedures.
Assists in the implementation of a fleet management system run by a third
party, ensuring best practices are used and data is managed efficiently across
Provides back-up support to the Director of Best Practices and Compliance
during meetings, maintains action items list, and resources of designated
initiatives. Must be flexible, multi-task, and willing to take on new/other
responsibilities as appropriate.
4-yr degree in business administration, information management, construction
management, or related field (or equivalent work experience) and 2-5 years of
related experience including document/records management, systems development
life cycle analysis, or analyzing/developing business processes.
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal
skills required. Knowledge of business lifecycle processes, systems,
organizational structure, and client and industry requirements. Obtain
knowledge and be able to apply Parsons’ policies and procedures.
Must demonstrate the ability to drive excellence through best practices,
focusing on improvement of processes, compliance, and training. Must be
capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. Must also
demonstrate the ability to multi-task. This includes effective problem solving
and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management
involvement in significant issues. Must demonstrate the ability to accomplish
projects and assigned tasks on time.
Thorough knowledge of MS Windows applications. SharePoint and Salesforce
experience a plus.
