Special Education Coordinator ESU 13 is accepting applications for a Special Education Coordinator for the 2019-20 school year.
Applicants must have or be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate with endorsement in Special Education or related service and three (3) years of experience working with students with disabilities.
Administrative certificate preferred, but not required.
The Special Education Coordinator will provide assistance to our member districts regarding the implementation of state and federal Special Education laws for students with disabilities as well as implementation of evidence based practices.
The ideal candidate would also have a strong understanding of early childhood, related services and ability to provide professional development.
Skills required included interagency collaboration, confidentiality, organization, adaptability and the ability to be a self-starter.
