The Emergency Communications Operator receives calls for assistance/walk-ins, including emergencies, and relays information to the shift supervisor and field officers; monitors various pieces of technical equipment;enters police incident reports into the computer; types various kinds of correspondences and performs various office duties.

Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent6 months of prior law enforcement, security, or dispatch experience
Salary Ranges Minimum salary(USD $): 24700 Maximum salary(USD $): 39500
Pay decisions are based on education, experience, skills and budget. The lower third of the range typically applies to less experienced candidates; the middle third for more experienced; and the upper range for those with exceptional qualifications and sustained performance.
