Provides advanced analytical and operational support to the Bank's Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives and Fixed Income Portfolio Desks. Responsibilities:
Complete medium complexity data entry and trade entry updates (documented/procedures) over range of disciplines.
Exercise medium level of analysis and judgment based work over a range of disciplines within the department.
Complete medium complexity documentation for system input with quality control and validation and moderate customer service requests.
Obtain and review documentation prior to submitting to management the details necessary for departmental audits. May take part in interdepartmental projects.
Respond to more complex requests involving research in multiple systems; complete related adjustments and reconciliation. Work with Senior Management to define and outline escalation criteria.
Utilize internal procedures across the department without collaboration to complete task.
Validate and reconcile various trade related details to include validation, reporting and customer confirmations.
Assist with cross-training and ensure basic understanding of tasks is correctly outlined.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 years' related work experience or an Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years' related work experience or a combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or related work experience
Basic to intermediate proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent spreadsheet, word processing and email software
Proven analytical skills
Proven time management skills
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented Preferred Qualifications:
Related degree Finance, Accounting or related field
Proven ability to be part of a working project and interject the necessary expertise to help guide results
Basic experience with derivatives, investment or foreign exchange operations, analytics or reporting
