Must be able to work evenings and overnight shifts (2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am)
Answer and direct all internal and external calls. Work with audio and radio paging systems. Provide daily maintenance service for the UHC and UHHS paging system. Provide cross service staffing for Operators, Answering Service and Receptions Services departments.
One year of experience as a receptionist, telephone answering service, hospital, or telephone company operator required. Medical Terminology preferred. Excellent customer service skills and ability to use good judgment required. Knowledge of basic office equipment such as computer systems, fax and copy machines required. Knowledge of phone and paging system preferred.
