May be required to work overtime. Operation of mobile equipment is required. The Position: Maintenance Mechanic for the Elmore, Ohio plant. The successful candidate will be a member of the maintenance operating team capable of repairing machinery, hydraulic cylinders, pumps and pneumatic systems. Capable of pipe fitting and fabricating structural steel and sheet metal. Individual may work from a variety of sketches, blue prints and drawings. The Requirements: Must have completed five years of industrial mechanical maintenance work or an approved four-year apprenticeship program. Working knowledge of computers and SPC is required. Brush Wellman requires each applicant have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must complete on the job and study training to understand the Plant Emergency systems and procedures.
